Sweet Bee Stationery FAQ
1. What is Sweet Bee Stationery about?
Sweet Bee Stationery is all about cute, hand-drawn illustration, journaling, scrapbooking, and stickers. This is especially for people who don’t think they’re “real artists.” My blog focuses on simple layouts, doodle tutorials, and creative ideas that are easy to try with basic supplies. Think cozy planner spreads, soft color palettes, and low-pressure creativity you can fit into a busy life.
2. I’m not very artistic. Can I still follow your tutorials?
Absolutely. Sweet Bee Stationery is designed for beginners and “I can only draw stick figures” people. I break things down into small, repeatable steps, and most tutorials use simple shapes and affordable tools. The goal isn’t perfection, it’s progress, play, and enjoying the process of making something cute.
3. What supplies do you recommend for getting started with journaling and stickers?
You don’t need a huge stash to begin. A favorite notebook, a few pens or fineliners, some markers or mildliners, and a pair of scissors or craft knife are plenty. As you follow along, I’ll share my favorite stationery brands and beginner-friendly tools, plus budget alternatives and DIY options so you can slowly build your collection without breaking the bank.
4. Will you share behind-the-scenes content about your sticker and stationery business?
Yes! Part of this blog is documenting my journey of starting and growing a small hand-drawn sticker and stationery shop. I’ll share things like how I design sticker sheets, test products, plan launches, and balance school/work with creative projects. My goal is to be honest about what I’m learning so other aspiring shop owners can learn with me.
5. How often do you post, and what kinds of posts can I expect?
I aim to post consistently throughout the semester with a mix of list posts like “10 Simple Journal Spread Ideas”, step-by-step tutorials, personal studio or planning diaries, and multimedia content such as videos or process photos. Most posts will include at least one small, actionable idea you can try the same day.
6. Can I use your designs in my own shop or products?
My artwork and designs are for personal use only unless I explicitly say otherwise. You’re welcome to use my ideas for your own journals, planners, scrapbooks, and personal projects, but please don’t resell my designs or claim them as your own. If you share something inspired by my work, I love when you tag or credit Sweet Bee Stationery.
7. How can I connect with you or share what I’ve made?
I’m most active on Instagram and Pinterest (and eventually my shop pages), where I’ll share new posts, sneak peeks, and works in progress. You can comment on blog posts, reply to stories, or tag your spreads and sticker creations so I can see them. I want this to feel like a cozy little stationery community, not just a one-way blog.
